It says something about Anthony Njokuani’s character that after watching Edson Barboza finish Mike Lullo with leg kicks that he would step up to the plate and offer himself up for the same type of punishment. But hey, that’s what a real Muay Thai fighter would do against one of his peers, and his willingness to do so at UFC 128 in March led to one of the purest displays of the Art of Eight Limbs that you will ever see in the Octagon. Edson Barboza Junior and Luiz Cane left their native Brazil looking for a better life through the mixed martial arts. Their work at the armory in Jupiter has them on their way to that dream. Josh Samuels has the story of these two rising stars.

The Armory slammed the competition this past weekend at an event at DownTown at The Gardens. There were 150 plus competitors and dozens of teams. The Armory took first place in the Team Event and Mary Venegas won first place overall.

Rei Moya, GM of Armory Jupiter facility won the South Florida Strongman Competition hosted at Johnny Longboats Restaurant on Singer Island. Rei won his Light Heavyweight Division as well as the Overall Title. Congrats Rei !!
